ECSE Clause Samples
The ECSE clause, which stands for Early Completion and Sectional Entry, allows for parts of a project or deliverable to be completed and handed over before the entire project is finished. In practice, this means that the client can take possession and begin using certain sections or phases of the work as soon as they are ready, rather than waiting for full project completion. This clause is particularly useful in large or phased projects, as it enables earlier use or occupancy, potentially generating revenue or operational benefits sooner, and helps manage project timelines more flexibly.
ECSE. A classroom teacher shall have a minimum of two hundred seventy five (275) minutes per week of planning time for preparation activities related to planning and execution of the classroom assignment. Teachers will receive these 275 minutes of planning time every Friday.

No required meetings shall be scheduled for this day. The affected teacher(s) and program administrators shall mutually agree as to which Friday shall be designated for individual preparation and planning.
2. On district-wide PD days, the ECSE program shall have planning time in the morning and students in the afternoon. On the second half day at the beginning of the school year, ECSE shall have planning time in the morning and students in the afternoon. At the end of the school year, ECSE shall have two full days of school and one ½ day, as opposed to one full day and three ½ days.
