Summer Employment. Members of the bargaining unit may apply for summer employment. If the position is the same type that the member fills during a regular year pay will be no less than his/her last regular salary rate, or the pay rate assigned to the summer job, whichever is greater. Employees shall be afforded absence and leave article rights if the member is assigned job duties for a month or more.
