Status of the Parties. 2.1 The type of Personal Data processed pursuant to this DPA and the subject matter, duration, nature and purpose of the processing, and the categories of data subjects, are as described in Annex 1.
Status of the Parties. The parties are independent contractors. Nothing in this Agreement is intended to or shall be construed to constitute or establish any agency, joint venture, partnership or fiduciary relationship between the parties, and neither party has the right or authority to bind the other party nor shall either party be responsible for the acts or omissions of the other.

Status of the Parties. 2.1 The relationship between the parties is that of independent organisations, as each party is a separate corporation sole. Nothing in this MOU shall create or be deemed to create a partnership of agency, franchise or employment between the parties.
Status of the Parties. Nothing in this Contract shall be construed to constitute either party as a joint venturer, co-venturer, joint lessor, joint operator or partner of the other. In performing services pursuant to this Contract, Seller is acting solely as an independent contractor maintaining complete control over its employees and operations. Unless otherwise provided in this Contract, neither HECO nor Seller is authorized to take any action in any way whatsoever for or on behalf of the other.
Status of the Parties. 1. Neither Party nor its personnel shall be considered as an official, agent, employee, representative or joint partner of the other Party. Neither Party shall enter into any contract or commitment on behalf of the other Party.
Status of the Parties. 2.1 Recipient will act independently of Novo Nordisk and shall perform in its own name and for its own account for all purposes and at all times. The Parties acknowledge that the relationship between them is that of independent contrac- tors, and not that of employer and employee, nor principal and agent, nor part- ners in a joint venture, nor any similar relationship whatsoever. Neither Party shall exercise control over the business or activities of the other Party, and nei- ther Party is granted any right or authority to assume or to create any obligation or responsibility, express or implied, on behalf of, or in the name of the other Par- ty, or in any other way to act on behalf of, or to bind, the other Party.
Status of the Parties. This Agreement, in and of itself, does not constitute, create or give effect to or otherwise establish a joint venture agreement, partnership, or any other business or organization. Unless provided by the terms of another agreement consistent with the governing regulations, the Parties are and shall remain independent contractors.
Status of the Parties. The Parties are each duly organized, validly existing and in good standing under the laws of the State of Florida and are each duly qualified and authorized to satisfy their responsibilities pursuant to this Agreement.
Status of the Parties. In performing their responsibilities pursuant to this Agreement, Household and Merchant are in the position of independent contractors, and in no circumstances shall either party be deemed to be the agent or employee of the other. This Agreement is not intended to create, nor does it create and shall not be construed to create, a relationship of partner or joint venturer or an association for profit between Household and Merchant. Any amounts ever owing by Merchant pursuant to this Agreement represent contractual obligations only and are not a loan or debt.
