Specialist Positions. 22. (a) Part-time and temporary full time members hired only for specialist assignments are members of the Xxxxxxxx [2002] Police Service only for the duration of the specified assignment.

Specialist Positions. (i) Affected employees will be placed on a surplus list for the Specialist Position and will have first rights for future vacancies in this classification. However, once an affected employee on the surplus list is offered a Specialist position, he will be removed from the surplus list.

Holders of a Specialist Position may re-apply for the position at the end of their term. In the event of a downturn in enrollment in a program where there is more than one Specialist Position holder, the holders will be removed from the assignment in reverse order of initial assignment date to the position. If more than one holder has the same assignment date, the removal will be based on their date listed on the Work Assignment Roster (Article 9). If enrollments increase, the Specialist Position holders will be brought back to complete their initial assignments in reverse order of removal.
Specialist Positions. The District and the Association may periodically agree to designate “specialist” positions as VAPA membership positions or agree to remove such positions from VAPA membership. When positions are so designated, agreement will also be reached as to the category (Principal or Associate) and the salary schedule for such positions.   • Specialists Persons working within a juridical person who possess uncommon knowledge essential to the commercial presence’s production, research equipment, techniques or management. In assessing such knowledge, account will be taken not only of knowledge specific to the commercial presence, but also of whether the person has a high level of qualification referring to a type of work or trade requiring specific technical knowledge, including membership of an accredited profession.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend.
