Showcase. The Showcase this year is scheduled for (TBA). Dress rehearsal will be on the same day. There will be a $40.00 fee per dancer for theater rental that will be due on November 14, 2016. All competition troupe dancers must perform in the showcase. This is a great opportunity to invite friend and family members. We will try to get the lowest rate possible and still keep each families room needs in mind when choosing our group hotel. This is the only way to keep the rates low for everyone. **Our policy on missing mandatory competition events. If a dancer misses one regional competition, they will risk losing their placement(s) in their routine(s). If a dancer misses two regional competitions, it will result in an involuntary separation from the competition troupe. Note that all fees paid are non-refundable. During Competition Events Dancers will be expected to be at a competition at least two hours before their scheduled category begins, ready to rehearse (with hair, make-up and first costume on). Again, parents should be in the audience ready to cheer on our dancers and let Mr. Xxxx have time to rehearse the dancers and get them ready.
Showcase. I løbet af perioden blev det politisk vedtaget at nedlægge refusionsudvalget og afskaffe showcase. Det er en situation, som vi på områdets vegne beklager meget. Efter vores opfattelse betyder det en forringelse af producenternes vilkår og en problematisk håndtering af kvalitetsvurderingen af scenekunst for børn og unge. Vi er i løbende dialog med slots- og Kulturstyrelsen og Statens Kunstfond om hvordan disse udfordringer kan håndsteres. Afskaffelsen af showcase betyder også, at en opgave, som Teatercentrum har løst for Slot- og Kulturstyrelsen ikke længere udføres. I perioden nåede vi at afholde to showcases i efteråret 2019, men showcase i foråret 2020 blev ikke gennemført.
