Performing arts definition

Performing arts means art forms that are expressed by individuals or groups that involve performance through multi-sensory experiences, which performances may include, but need not be limited to, dance, music, theater, and digital or electronic productions.

For purposes of developing stipends, fall and winter “seasons” are to be considered as one semester subject to the limitations described in this document. Summary descriptions of responsibilities and guidelines for level of stipend to be awarded: Art: Art Gallery Director (Non-Student Shows) Responsibilities include following institutional budgetary procedures in coordinating all gallery exhibits to include scheduling and working with artists and students; preparing exhibit publicity and promotion; arranging opening receptions. Maximum Stipend: Four (4) primary non-student exhibits. Proportional Stipend: One-quarter (1/4) of maximum stipend per exhibit per semester.
