Seniority List and Definition of Seniority. A seniority list for the bargaining units 17 shall be kept by the City and shall be updated yearly. A copy shall be available for inspection in 18 a location designated by the Director. 19 20 Seniority for purposes of this Agreement is defined as the total time an employee has in their 21 classification/rank. Employees who are separated from employment as a result of a termination 22 that was not subsequently rescinded or overturned, a non-disability retirement, or a resignation 23 shall not be credited with past seniority upon re-employment. 24
