Section 10.2.2. Current Employee in New Position. 5 An employee who is selected for a higher level position will be subject to a 20 workday 6 probationary period. If during this time the employee does not meet required performance 7 standards, the employee shall be reassigned to the position formerly held, if still available, or to a 8 position of equal responsibility and pay. During this period the employee may also request to return 9 to the former position, if still available.

  • Replacement Employee Should a replacement Employee be engaged, the replacement Employee is to be informed prior to engagement of the fixed term nature of the employment and of the rights of the Employee, who is being replaced, including that the engagement may be subject to variation according to 6.10.3 (d) and ability to extend unpaid Maternity Leave as provided for under sub-clause 6.10.10.
