Safeguards During Transmission. Covered Entity shall be responsible for using appropriate safeguards including encryption of PHI, to maintain and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of PHI transmitted pursuant to this Agreement, in accordance with the standards and requirements of the HIPAA Rules.
Safeguards During Transmission. CE shall be responsible for using appropriate safeguards, including encryption of PHI, to maintain and ensure the confidentiality, integrity and security of Protected Information transmitted pursuant to this Contract, in accordance with the standards and requirements of the HIPAA Rules.

Associate shall be responsible for using appropriate safeguards, including encryption of PHI, to maintain and ensure the confidentiality, integrity and security of Protected Information transmitted to CE pursuant to the Contract, in accordance with the standards and requirements of the HIPAA Rules.

HCPF shall be responsible for using appropriate safeguards to maintain and ensure the confidentiality, privacy and security of PHI transmitted to CDPHE pursuant to this MOU, in accordance with the standards and requirements of the Privacy Rule, until such PHI is received by CDPHE, and in accordance with any specifications set forth in Attachment A.
Safeguards During Transmission. Covered Entity and Business Associate will use appropriate safeguards to maintain and ensure the confidentiality, privacy and security when transmitting Covered Entity’s Protected Health Information to the other party pursuant to this Agreement, in accordance with the standards and requirements of the Privacy and Security Rule.

AAA shall be responsible for using appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law to maintain and ensure the confidentiality, privacy and security of PHI transmitted to Associate pursuant to this Contract, in accordance with the standards and requirements of the Privacy Rule, until such PHI is received by Associate, and in accordance with any specifications set forth in Attachment A.
Safeguards During Transmission. Associate must utilize safeguards that reasonably and appropriately maintain and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Protected Health Information transmitted to CE pursuant to this Agreement, in accordance with the standards and requirements of the HIPAA Rules and other applicable federal or state regulations, until such Protected Health Information is received by CE, and in accordance with any specifications set forth in Attachment A. Due Diligence. Associate must exercise due diligence and take reasonable steps to ensure that it remains in compliance with this Agreement and is in compliance with applicable provisions of HIPAA, the HIPAA Rules, and other applicable laws or regulations pertaining to PHI, and that its Agents, Subcontractors and vendors are in compliance with their obligations as required by this Agreement.
Safeguards During Transmission. CIVHC shall be responsible for using appropriate safeguards to maintain and ensure the confidentiality, privacy, and security of Protected Health Information in Plan’s Data Submissions transmitted to third parties in accordance with the standards and requirements of the HIPAA Regulations.
