Common use of Safeguards During Transmission Clause in Contracts

Safeguards During Transmission. Associate shall be responsible for using appropriate safeguards, including encryption of PHI, to maintain and ensure the confidentiality, integrity and security of Protected Information transmitted to CE pursuant to the Contract, in accordance with the standards and requirements of the HIPAA Rules.
