Security Measures definition

Security Measures has the meaning given in Section 7.1.1 (Google’s Security Measures).
Security Measures mean commercially reasonable security-related policies, standards, and practices commensurate with the size and complexity of Company’s business, the level of sensitivity of the data collected, handled and stored, and the nature of Company’s business activities.
Security Measures has the meaning given in Clause 4.1.1.

Examples of Security Measures in a sentence

  • Google may update the Security Measures from time to time provided that such updates do not result in a material reduction of the security of the Services.

  • Google will maintain at least the following for the Audited Services in order to evaluate the continued effectiveness of the Security Measures: (a) certificates for ISO 27001, ISO 27017 and ISO 27018 and, for Google Cloud Platform, a PCI DSS Attestation of Compliance (the “Compliance Certifications”); and (b) SOC 2 and SOC 3 reports produced by Google’s Third Party Auditor and updated annually based on an audit performed at least once every 12 months (the “SOC Reports”).

  • Customer agrees that the Services, Security Measures implemented and maintained by Google, Additional Security Controls and Google’s commitments under this Section 7 (Data Security) provide a level of security appropriate to the risk to Customer Data (taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation and the nature, scope, context and purposes of the processing of Customer Personal Data as well as the risks to individuals).

  • The Security Measures include measures to encrypt Customer Data; to help ensure ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of Google’s systems and services; to help restore timely access to Customer Data following an incident; and for regular testing of effectiveness.

  • As from the Addendum Effective Date, Google will implement and maintain the Security Measures described in this Appendix 2.


More Definitions of Security Measures

Security Measures means the security measures and any other obligations under the Data Protection Law for the purposes of guaranteeing the security and confidentiality of the Processed Data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical or organizational measures, as well as procedures and activities to be performed in case of a personal data breach to prevent and reduce the adverse effects of the breach on the affected data subjects, in particular, those identified in Appendix II – Security Measures;
Security Measures means technological, physical, organizational, and procedural safeguards, including, without limitation, policies, procedures, guidelines, practices standards, controls, hardware, software, firmware, and physical security measures, the function or purpose of which is, in whole or part, to protect the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of Buyer Data.
Security Measures means any measure designed and implemented with the primary aim of preventing, reducing the risk and/or responding to any violence or other criminal activity or disorder committed in connection with a football or other sports event, inside or outside of a stadium;
Security Measures means those measures aimed at protecting Personal Data against accidental destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, in particular where the Processing involves the transmission of data over a network, and against all other unlawful forms of Processing;
Security Measures means the Mobile Phone, email address specified by the Customer, User ID, Password, Web Personal Identification Number, Random Password, and any other access procedures prescribed by the Bank, from time to time, to enable a Customer to access and use the Service.
Security Measures has the meaning given in Section 4(a) (Provider Security Measures).
Security Measures means the technical and organizational measures designed to protect the Personal Data as set forth in Attachment A.
