Room Furnishings. Any room furnishing added by the Student must be free standing, and no part of one’s personal furnishing may be attached, wedged, or secured in any manner to the ceiling, floor, walls, doors, or University furnishings in the room/apartment. No item may be placed that obstructs direct access to the doors or windows, thereby hindering evacuation. No University furnishings or equipment/appliances may be altered from their intended design or removed from the room by the Student or the Student’s guest(s).

Room Furnishings. All public spaces, lobbies, meeting rooms, and each room in the Hotel available for guest rental is furnished in accordance with commercially reasonable standards for the Hotel and room type.
Room Furnishings. The resident is individually responsible for the proper care of the resident's assigned room and its furnishings and equipment, and is jointly responsible with other residents in the suite or the floor, or in the residential facility, for proper care of common areas, furnishings, and equipment. All University furniture must remain in the room. Charges for missing or damaged furniture will be shared by each occupant of the room and assessed to the student account.
Room Furnishings. To Contributor's Knowledge, all public spaces, lobbies, meeting rooms, and each room in the Hotel available for guest rental is furnished in accordance with Franchisor's standards for the Hotel and room type, except to the extent of the changes required by the Property Improvement Plan.
Room Furnishings. The College agrees to furnish each room with basic furniture, including, but not necessarily, a desk, chair, bed frame with mattress, chest of drawers, and a wardrobe for students without closets. One of each item is issued per student. A limited number of two-bedroom apartments and all four-bedroom apartment kitchens are furnished with a refrigerator, stove and microwave. The student is not allowed to move or disconnect appliances installed by the College. The student is responsible for keeping furnishings in good condition.
Room Furnishings. The facility shall completely furnish the resident’s room in accordance with department of inspections and appeals 481—subrule 57.30(4) without additional charge to the resident or person acting on the resident’s behalf. When the resident wishes to provide some item or items of room furnishing, the facility may grant the request. This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code section 249.12.
