Required Training/Education Sample Clauses

Required Training/Education. For any training/education mandated or required by the City, the City shall pay for all the costs. Employees attending during their regular scheduled duty hours shall be released from duty without loss of pay or benefits. Employees attending during times/days outside of their regular scheduled duty hours shall receive time and one-half overtime pay. The City shall also pay for travel expenses, in the event the training/education is conducted outside the City of Xxxxx Park.

Required Training/Education. When the Employer requires an employee to attend fire service schools, classes, emergency medical training or other specialized training for current job classification, the actual cost of tuition, books and necessary and reasonable travel, meals and lodging expenses shall be paid for by the Employer. When requested, payment of authorized expenses shall be made in advance.

  • Required Training For training that is required by the Agency, manager or supervisor, the Agency shall reimburse one hundred percent (100%) of all related necessary and legitimate expenses, including but not limited to tuition, books, travel expenses, travel time, and attendance time. When practical, the Agency will attempt to adjust the employee’s hours if the approved training activity is scheduled during the employee’s normal work hours.

  • Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training The state and the PBA recognize the importance of supervisor training programs to develop management skills in our law enforcement supervisors. The state will make a reasonable effort to continue existing training programs in law enforcement techniques and to develop new programs in performance review techniques, supervisory skills, and managerial techniques.

  • Continuing Education 24.01 The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.

  • First Aid Training a) The Employer will encourage employees to take first-aid and refresher courses and for this purpose will assume the cost of first-aid training. Employees selected by the Employer for first-aid training shall be granted time off without loss of pay.

  • Job Training The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes:

  • Staff Training VENDOR shall ensure that all staff providing direct Services receive continuing education and training as needed or required and that such education and training is documented.

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • Distance Education 7.13.1 Expanding student access, not increasing productivity or enrollment, shall be the primary determining factor when a decision is made to schedule a distance education course. There will be no reduction in force of faculty (as defined in Article XXIII of this Agreement) as a result of the District’s participation in distance education.
