Reimbursement for Authorized Union Leave. 1. A covered Employee on Union leave from the Company shall be paid by the Company at his applicable hourly pay rate for such hours during his regular pay cycle and the Employee shall continue to accrue all benefits as if he had been on active duty. The maximum compensation paid to any Employee while on authorized Union leave is one time the applicable hourly pay rate and a maximum of forty (40) hours a week.

Upon receipt of recommendations, the manager or designee, will within five (5) working days review and forward the recommendations to the Director of Maintenance for his review. Any refusal to implement the Committee recommendations will be in writing with justification for the refusal within five (5) working days of receiving Committee recommendations and forwarded to the District 142 General Chairperson.

  • Leave of Absence for Union Functions a) Upon request to the Employer, an Employee elected or appointed to represent the Union at conventions shall be allowed leave of absence with pay and benefits.
