Refunds Issued by the Institution of Higher Education. In the event that a college or university issues a refund in full or in part to the beneficiary, contributor, or any party on behalf of either, at any time after a payment(s) is made to that college or university by SCTPP for payment of tuition and mandatory fee expenses of the beneficiary, the beneficiary is responsible for notifying the Program of the refund amount and the reason for the refund. If the Program or the IRS determines that the refund by the college or university constitutes a non-qualified distribution of Program benefits, the beneficiary shall be responsible for any federal and State taxes owed, the applicable IRS penalty, and any pertinent Program administrative fees.   • Member Education The Contractor shall provide members with general information about the benefits packages covered under the Hoosier Healthwise program. The Contractor shall have policies and procedures in place to ensure that member education information is accurate in content, accurate in translation relevant to language, and do not defraud, mislead, or confuse the member. Member education shall include, but not necessarily limited to the items noted below:

  • Union Education If the local union indicates to the Hospital that its members have approved a special assessment for union education in accordance with the CUPE constitution and local union by laws, the Hospital agrees to deduct this assessment. Such assessment will be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established and administered by OCHU/CUPE for this purpose.

  • MORTGAGE LOAN ORIGINATOR EDUCATION 1. Prior to the submission of a new application for any new mortgage loan originator license or, as applicable, the filing of a petition for the reinstatement of an MLO Activity Endorsement in any Participating State as provided for in Section II, Paragraph 2 of this Order, the Respondent will be required to complete the following mortgage loan originator education requirements:

  • Payment of Extraordinary Education Related Expenses Section 5.1. PAYMENT OF EXTRAORDINARY EDUCATION-RELATED EXPENSES. In addition to the amounts determined pursuant to Articles IV and VI of this Agreement, Applicant on an annual basis shall also indemnify and reimburse District for all non-reimbursed costs, certified by the District’s external auditor to have been incurred by the District for extraordinary education-related expenses directly and solely related to the project that are not directly funded in state aid formulas, including expenses for the purchase of portable classrooms and the hiring of additional personnel to accommodate a temporary increase in student enrollment caused directly by such project. Applicant shall have the right to contest the findings of the District’s external auditor pursuant to Section 4.9 above.

  • Leave With Pay for Family-Related Responsibilities (a) For the purpose of this clause, family is defined as spouse (or common-law spouse resident with the employee), dependent children (including xxxxxx children and children of legal or common-law spouse), parents (including stepparents or xxxxxx parents), or any relative residing in the employee's household or with whom the employee permanently resides.

  • Adult Education Teachers of Adult Education shall be paid at the rate of thirty-five ($35.00) an hour. Break time will not be deducted from teachers’ pay.

  • Higher education expenses Payments taken for certain qualified higher education expenses for you, your spouse, or the children or grandchildren of you or your spouse, will not be subject to the 10 percent early distribution penalty tax. 7)

  • Continuing Education 24.01 The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.

  • Institution For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the “Institution” means the institution purchasing goods and services for which a Purchase Order has been lawfully issued to the Vendor.

  • *Experienced Educator An educator with Professional Teacher Status (PTS).
