The Reference Check Process clause outlines the procedures and requirements for verifying a candidate’s background and qualifications through reference checks. Typically, this clause specifies who is responsible for conducting the checks, what information must be obtained, and any necessary consents from the candidate. Reference Check Process. The HR department will screen applications and resumes prior to scheduling interviews. Initial interviews are generally conducted by the HR department. The applicants resume-stated education is validated based on a trusted background screening company and/or by verifying education credentials through direct contact with the educational institution. To ensure that individuals who join OnesourcePCS are well qualified and to ensure that OnesourcePCS maintains a safe and productive work environment, it is our policy to conduct pre- employment background checks on all applicants who accept an offer of employment. Background checks may include verification of any information on the applicant’s resume or application form. OnesourcePCS and the HR department work together to determine the applicants resume is a good fit to the State’s Job Title Description and/or Request for Quote criteria by ensuring the applicants meet the minimum experience and education requirements. Further the applicant will have performed similar functional responsibilities and duties as required by the job description. OnesourcePCS will incorporate Exhibit D of the draft Contract along with interview and recruitment process which includes the background check to verify the candidate’s qualifications.
Reference Check Process. Candidates who pass the internal pre-screening and technical interviews receive a verbal, contingent offer of employment and sign an authorization for Employment Verification and Reference Check. Each candidate must provide three (3) professional references within a minimum of the past 10 years of work history. Three positive references must be obtained in order to be considered for employment.
