Before providing direct services or having direct client contact, or access to client records, the Grantee will submit information necessary for DFPS to conduct background checks on its employees, Subgrantees, or volunteers according to the DFPS Background Checks Handbook under the applicable policy section at ▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/handbooks/Background_Checks/default.asp, including any required disclosures.
Pursuant to Education Code section 45125.1, CONTRACTOR shall conduct criminal background checks of ALL employees of CONTRACTOR assigned to the PROJECT site, and shall certify that no employees who have been convicted of serious or violent felonies, as specified in Education Code Section 45125.1, will have contact with pupils, by utilizing the General Certification Regarding Background Checks Form.

Background Checks for the Contractor’s staff must be approved by the County prior to working in any County facility.
