Public Relations Initiatives. Public Relations is a critical component of any successful economic development campaign and these costs are eligible as part of the co-op program. Public Relations activities may include the creation and implementation of a media relations/publicity program for your area or for a specific site in your area, creation and distribution of print or digital newsletters or magazines that are designed to highlight economic development activities and/or opportunities in your area, etc. All campaign elements should identify Enterprise Florida as a partner in the initiatives. • Special Events – Ground breakings, grand openings, site selector visits, media tours, etc. will be considered,. Where practical, all special events should feature the Florida|The Future is Here theme and include the Enterprise Florida Inc. logo on banners, signs, posters, etc. • Computer programs & data analytics – Software designed to assist in economic development activities is constantly evolving and there may be opportunities for EFI members to take advantage of improvements in the area. With prior written approval, co-op consideration will be given to covering a portion of the cost of software and computer programming updates. Monthly maintenance or licensing fees will NOT be covered. • Other activities and initiatives – In order to be successful, economic development marketing and communications programs should highlight and differentiate your region or project from others outside of Florida. If you have creative ideas that do not fall in any of the categories listed, but that you believe will help you succeed in your economic development efforts, please present a plan outlining your goals and objectives and identifying how the project will help in reaching those goals. We will review the proposal with you and decide if we can include it in the co-op program. ACTIVITIES NOT ELIGIBLE FOR CO-OP FUNDING While we are seeking to offer a broad scope of co-op activities, there are certain activities and/or expenditures that will not be considered for funding or must be pre-approved in order to qualify for co-op funding.

  • LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS 30.01 A Labour/Management Relations Committee shall be appointed, consisting of a maximum of two (2) Shop Stewards from the Union, and a maximum of two (2) representatives from the Co-operative. The full-time Union Representative may also attend these meetings from time to time. The Committee shall meet at the request of either party, for the purpose of discussing matters of mutual concern. Time spent by bargaining unit employees in carrying out the functions of this Committee shall be considered as time worked and shall be paid for by the Co-operative. The Committee shall not have jurisdiction to interpret and/or amend the Collective Agreement.

Management Improvements: Development and implementation of improved systems and business practices to optimize productivity and service delivery operations (e.g., analysis, and implementation of improvements in the flow of IT work and program processes and tool utilization, including business system analysis, identification of requirements for streamlining, re-engineering, or re-structuring internal systems/business processes for improvement, determination of IT solution alternatives, benchmarking).

  • Research and Development (i) Advice and assistance in relation to research and development of Party B;

  • HABILITATIVE SERVICES (HABILITATIVE mean healthcare services that help a person keep, learn, or improve skills and functioning for daily living. Examples include therapy for a child who is not walking or talking at the expected age. These services may include physical and occupational therapy, speech therapy and other services performed in a variety of inpatient and/or outpatient settings for people with disabilities. HOSPITAL means a facility: • that provides medical and surgical care for patients who have acute illnesses or injuries; and • is either listed as a hospital by the American Hospital Association (AHA) or accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
