PTO/Sick Leave Credit Sample Clauses

PTO/Sick Leave Credit. All full time teachers as defined in ARTICLE III, Section 2. above shall be credited with 80 hours of PTO and 16 hours of sick/adoption leave per contract year. The credit shall be made at the beginning of each school year. Part-time and job share teachers shall accrue PTO hours and sick/adoption leave hours on a pro-rata basis. If a teacher leaves the District having used more PTO hours and/or sick/adoption leave hours than they earned, the District shall reduce the teacher's final paycheck for any unearned PTO or sick/adoption leave hours on a pro-rata basis.

  • Sick Leave Credit When special time off, as noted in 9.1 and 9.3 occurs while eligible employees are on sick leave credit, their pay will not be charged against sick leave credits and they will receive 100% payment at their base rate for normal scheduled hours.

  • Sick Leave Credits Regular employees who have completed their probationary period will accrue sick leave credits at the rate of one day per month to a maximum of 156 days. Upon completion of their probationary period, an employee will be credited with sick leave back to the employee's starting date.   • Accrued 100% sick leave The use of sick leave under this subsection is at the employee's discretion.

  • Sick Leave Defined Sick Leave means the period of time an employee is permitted to be absent from work with full pay by virtue of being sick or disabled, exposed to contagious disease, or because of an accident for which compensation is not payable under the Workers' Compensation Act.

  • Vacation Leave on Retirement ‌ An employee scheduled to retire and to receive pension benefits under the Public Service Pension Plan Rules or who has reached the mandatory retiring age, shall be granted full vacation entitlement for the final calendar year of service.

  • Vacation, Sick Leave and Holidays Executive shall be entitled in each calendar year to four (4) weeks of paid vacation time. Each vacation shall be taken by Executive at such time or times as agreed upon by the Company and Executive, and any portion of Executive’s allowable vacation time not used during the calendar year shall be subject to the Company’s payroll policies regarding carryover vacation. Executive shall be entitled to holiday and sick leave in accordance with the Company’s holiday and other pay for time not worked policies.
