School Closures L13.13 Where a school is scheduled to close at the end of a school year, the transfer or placement for the following school year of a Teacher in that school will be considered prior to transfer under L13.8.
Paid Education Leave The Company agrees to pay into a special fund, one (1¢) cent per hour per employee for all compensated hours for the purpose of providing paid education leave. Such leave will be for upgrading the employee skills in all aspects of trade union functions. Employment Relations Education Leave The Employer shall grant leave on pay for employees party to this MECA to attend courses authorised by NZNO to facilitate the employee’s education and training as employee representatives in the workplace. The numbers of days education leave granted is based on the formula of 35 days per annum for the first 280 full time equivalent employees (employees covered by this MECA who have authorised the NZNO to act on their behalf) and a further five days per annum for every 100 full time equivalent employees thereafter. Tickets Each Ticket represents a limited, revocable license to enter the Venue to attend the specific Event listed on the applicable Ticket. No person, except for attendees under the age of three, may enter the Venue without a Ticket, and re-entry is prohibited. Failure to comply with this Agreement shall result in forfeiture of this license and all rights arising hereunder without refund or credit and shall entitle KSE to pursue all legal remedies available.
Education Leave (a) If required by the Employer, an employee shall be entitled to leave of absence with pay and without loss of seniority and benefits to write examinations to upgrade his or her employment qualifications.
Dinner Dinner reimbursement may be claimed only if the employee is away from his/her temporary or permanent work station in a travel status overnight or is required to remain in a travel status until after 7:00 P.M.
