Common use of Processing of Grievance Clause in Contracts

Processing of Grievance. a. It is mutually agreed that grievances should be processed as rapidly as possible. The number of days indicated at each procedural level shall be considered maximums. The limits specified may be altered by the mutual written consent of the grievant and the appropriate District-designated administrator, and the Federation shall be notified of such alteration. Failure by the District to respond to a grievance within the timelines specified herein shall result in the grievance moving to the next level.
