Probationary and Permanent Seniority Lists. Whenever a layoff of one or more career employees becomes necessary, as defined above, such layoffs shall be made according to City-wide classification seniority lists. Upon receiving notification that the City Manager must proceed with a possible reduction in the work force and following receipt of information concerning the specific positions, programs, and departments involved, the Human Resources Department will immediately estab- lish separate probationary and permanent seniority lists for each classification tar- geted for layoff.

  • Posting of Seniority List A seniority list shall be posted on or before November 30. The Employer shall prepare and post electronically a seniority list indicating, by area of certification, the first day worked and the contract status (limited or continuing) of each employee. Said list shall be provided to the Association President on or before the date of posting.
