Planned System Outages. Where The Company plans to carry out a System Outage that will De-energise the User’s Connection Point (either directly or indirectly) the Company will notify the User in accordance with clause 41 of Section 2B of the DCUSA, The Company will use all reasonable endeavours to make said notification not less than 10 working days prior to the System Outage and in any case not less than 5 working days prior to the System Outage, by contacting the User at the address given below. Planned System Outages. When planned maintenance or repair requires a break or reduction in services, the Contractor shall make the following notifications for all activities performed under this contract requiring system or building outages, the Contractor shall provide advance notice to the COR, affected BM, SM, TR, PM (if applicable) and FM. A list of FM or customers for each facility will be provided by the Government upon request. Customer notification shall include the length of time and type of work to be performed. Should work progress temporarily halt before job completion, the Contractor shall provide the customer with the reason for delay and the projected date or time they shall return to complete the work. The COR will make every attempt to approve the requested outage; however, as a general rule priority is given to scheduled research activities. The Contractor shall fully cooperate with other contractors and Government employees and shall carefully adapt scheduling and performance of work under this contract to accommodate the work by others.

  • Forced Outages During any forced outage, the NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner may suspend interconnection service to the Interconnection Customer to effect immediate repairs on the New York State Transmission System or the Distribution System. The NYISO shall use Reasonable Efforts to provide the Interconnection Customer with prior notice. If prior notice is not given, the NYISO shall, upon request, provide the Interconnection Customer written documentation after the fact explaining the circumstances of the disconnection.
