Forced Outages. During any forced outage, the NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner may suspend interconnection service to the Interconnection Customer to effect immediate repairs on the New York State Transmission System or the Distribution System. The NYISO shall use Reasonable Efforts to provide the Interconnection Customer with prior notice. If prior notice is not given, the NYISO shall, upon request, provide the Interconnection Customer written documentation after the fact explaining the circumstances of the disconnection.

Forced Outages. During any forced outage, the Transmission Provider may suspend interconnection service to effect immediate repairs on the Transmission Provider's Transmission System. The Transmission Provider shall use Reasonable Efforts to provide the Interconnection Customer with prior notice. If prior notice is not given, the Transmission Provider shall, upon request, provide the Interconnection Customer written documentation after the fact explaining the circumstances of the disconnection.
Forced Outages. During any forced outage, the Participating TO or the CAISO may suspend interconnection service to effect immediate repairs on the CAISO Controlled Grid or the Participating TO’s electric system. The Participating TO or the CAISO shall use Reasonable Efforts to provide the Interconnection Customer with prior notice. If prior notice is not given, the Participating TO or the CAISO shall, upon request, provide the Interconnection Customer written documentation after the fact explaining the circumstances of the disconnection. The Interconnection Customer shall notify CAISO, as soon as practicable, of all forced outages or reductions of the Small Generating Facility in accordance with the CAISO Tariff.
Forced Outages. Seller shall notify Buyer of a Forced Outage as promptly as possible, but no later than ten (10) minutes after the commencement of the Forced Outage and in accordance with the notification procedures set forth in Appendix VI. Forced Outages. Seller shall promptly provide to PacifiCorp an oral report, via telephone to a number specified by PacifiCorp (or other method approved by PacifiCorp), of any Forced Outage resulting in more than 10 percent of the Nameplate Capacity Rating of the Facility being unavailable. This report shall include the amount of the generation capacity of the Facility that will not be available because of the Forced Outage and the expected return date of such generation capacity. Seller shall promptly update the report as necessary to advise PacifiCorp of changed circumstances. As soon as practicable, the oral report shall be confirmed in writing by notice to PacifiCorp. Seller shall take all reasonable measures consistent with Prudent Electrical Practices to avoid Forced Outages and to minimize their duration.

The EDC shall use reasonable efforts to provide the Interconnection Customer with prior notice. The Parties understand that any suspension or disconnection the NYISO is authorized to make under this article 3.4.3 are conditioned upon: (i) the NYISO’s use of Reasonable Efforts to provide the Interconnection Customer with prior notice; and (ii) if prior notice is not given, the NYISO’s provision to the Interconnection Customer, upon request, of written documentation after the fact explaining the circumstances of the disconnection.

Forced Outages. Seller shall, in accordance with the provisions set forth in Appendix IX, (i) use commercially reasonable efforts to notify Buyer of any Forced Outage within ten (10) minutes of the occurrence of such outage, (ii) provide a written estimate of its expected duration of the outage within one (1) hour thereafter, and (iii) submit a completed Outage Notification Form to Buyer in accordance with the instructions provided therein. Seller shall not substitute Energy from any other source for the output of the Project during a Forced Outage.
