Placement and Schedules. Effective upon the execution of this Agreement, covered members in the bargaining units shall be placed on the appropriate compensation chart using their number of years of service from the date of placement in service in their respective bargaining units. During the term of this Agreement, covered members shall then advance on the compensation schedule on their respective anniversary dates.

Placement and Schedules. During the term of this Agreement Employees shall advance on the compensation schedule on their anniversary date. The attached pay schedules shall be effective as of December 1, 2014 and any pay increases shall be effective on that date. There shall be no other pay increases during the term of this Agreement.

Placement and Schedules. Employees in Unit I shall be placed on the compensation schedule in the appropriate position in accordance with Appendix C, and Article XVII, Section 8 of this Agreement. During the term of this Agreement, employees shall then advance on the compensation schedule on their anniversary dates. The attached pay schedules shall be effective as of the dates indicated in Appendix C.

However, those covered members who are hired specifically under the “Pre-Certified Officer Hiring Program” may be placed, initially, between Step 2 and Step 5 no higher than a “one-for-one” placement based on their qualified, full-years of law enforcement service at their immediately- previous law enforcement agency. All officers hired utilizing the “Pre-Certified Officer Hiring Program” will start with zero (0) years of seniority in accordance with Article 23, Section 1. During the term of this Agreement, covered members shall then advance on the compensation schedule on May 1st of each year in accordance with Article 22, Section 1.
