Permanent Care. If Resident is in need of Permanent Care in Supportive Living, it shall take place after consultation among Administration, Resident, Resident’s spouse, and/or Resident’s responsible party. The care shall be considered Permanent Care if Resident has a health condition which, in the opinion of Administration, requires permanent or prolonged indefinite care in Supportive Living or another environment. Willow Valley shall provide care in a semi-private accommodation in the skilled nursing care or memory support area or a private accommodation, if available, in the personal care area of a Willow Valley Supportive Living Community, as well as required medical supplies at no additional cost over the Resident’s Monthly Service Fee, except for other charges as outlined under “Types of Supportive Living Services and Supplies Not Provided” in Section 4.2.D below.

Permanent Care. S1.4.1 This Service is defined as accommodation, board and personal care for Customers as defined in the Health and Social Care Xxx 0000, and is for people who need assistance, monitoring or supervision with their daily living activities, safety and well-being, or who may be mentally or physically frail, or predisposed to self neglect and therefore need more intensive assistance or supervision with their daily living activities, safety and well- being. Permanence is implied by the fact there is no specified end date to the Service. Nursing, therapeutic or clinical input may be provided by Health Service professional (e.g. District Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist etc) to the same level as would be available to Customers with the same needs living in their own homes in the community according to their individual need. Customers will arrange their own transport or be transported by the Council or its Agent to and from the Home at pre- determined and agreed times.

  • Patient Care Resident shall participate in safe, effective, and compassionate patient care, under supervision, commensurate with Resident's level of advancement and responsibility.

  • Urgent Care This plan covers services received at an urgent care center. For other services, such as surgery or diagnostic tests, the amount that you pay is based on the type of service being provided. See Summary of Medical Benefits for details. Follow-up care (such as suture removal or wound care) should be obtained from your primary care provider or specialist.

  • Dependent Care The College will make available to employees, at their option, an Internal Revenue Service Code Section 129 Dependent Care plan. The plan will be established, administered, and communicated to employees by the State without cost to the employees.

  • UNINTERRUPTED PATIENT CARE 18.1 It is recognized that the Hospital is engaged in a public service requiring continuous operation and it is agreed that recognition of such obligation of continuous service is imposed upon both the nurse and the Association. During the term of this Agreement, neither the Association nor its members, agents, representatives, employees or persons acting in concert with them shall incite, encourage or participate in any strike, sympathy strike, picketing, walkout, slowdown, sick out or other work stoppage of any nature whatsoever. In the event of any such activity, or a threat thereof, the Association and its officers will do everything within their power to end or avert same. Any nurse participating in any such activity will be subject to immediate dismissal.

  • Medical Care The Parents must comply with the School Welfare Officer's recommendations which may include a reasonable decision to release the Pupil home or to his / her education guardian when s/he is unwell.

  • Therapist Availability Therapist’s office is equipped with a confidential voice mail system that allows Patient to leave a message at any time. Therapist will make every effort to return calls within 24 hours (or by the next business day), but cannot guarantee the calls will be returned immediately. Therapist is unable to provide 24-hour crisis service. In the event that Patient is feeling unsafe or requires immediate medical or psychiatric assistance, he/she should call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.

  • Medical Care Leave An Employee who is unable to make the necessary arrangements for maintenance of personal health care outside of scheduled work time, shall be granted time off with pay. Such time off shall not exceed sixteen (16) working hours per calendar year. Hours in excess of sixteen (16) hours per calendar year shall be deducted from the Employee's sick leave accumulation.

  • DEPENDENT CARE REIMBURSEMENT ACCOUNT During the term of this MOU, Management agrees to maintain a Dependent Care Reimbursement Account (DCRA), qualified under Section 129 of the Internal Revenue Code, for active employees who are members of LACERS, provided that sufficient enrollment is maintained to continue to make the account available. Enrollment in the DCRA is at the discretion of each employee. All contributions into the DCRA and related administrative fees shall be paid by employees who are enrolled in the plan. As a qualified Section 129 Plan, the DCRA shall be administered according to the rules and regulations specified for such plans by the Internal Revenue Service.

  • Urgent Care Services All Medically Necessary Covered Services received in Urgent Care Centers, Retail Clinics or your Primary Care Physician’s office after-hours to treat an Urgent Medical Condition will be covered by AvMed. Any request for reimbursement of payment made by a Member for services received must be filed within 90 days or as soon as reasonably possible but not later than one year unless the Member was legally incapacitated. If Urgent Medical Services and Care are required while outside the continental United States, Alaska or Hawaii, it is the Member’s responsibility to pay for such services at the time they are received.
