Parent/Teacher Conference Days and Meet the Teacher Night. HIGH SCHOOL/MIDDLE SCHOOL - Two half days in the fall and one-half day in the spring shall be scheduled for parent/teacher conferences. ELEMENTARY - Two half days in the fall and one-half (1/2) day in the spring, with spring conferences scheduled at the teacher’s, administrator’s, or parents’ request. CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION – Minimum of one night (3 hours) in the fall for parent-teacher conferences and the additional six (6) hours (3 hours from fall and 3 hours from spring) will be conducted outside contractual hours that correlates to the program. Final approval of hours outside the contractual hours shall be pre-approved by the immediate supervisor. Teachers shall also hold one “meet the teacher night” to be scheduled by administration. Parent/Teacher Conferences and Meet the Teacher Night shall not exceed three (3) hours per event, except by mutual agreement between administration and MTA.   • Parent-Teacher Conferences A. Unit member shall be available at mutually arranged times during the regular school day to confer with parents regarding learning difficulties, student progress and/or behavioral problems a student may be experiencing. Unit members are encouraged to arrange a meeting or conference with parents before or after the regular school day if both time and place are mutually agreeable.

  • SPECIAL CONFERENCES For the discussion of important matters (not grievances) special conferences may be arranged at a mutually satisfactory time between the Association and the Employer representative(s) within ten (10) regularly scheduled working days after request of either party, subject to the following conditions:

  • Parent Conferences A. 1. Elementary and exceptional education schools shall be dismissed early a minimum of four (4) half days during the school year to grant teachers time for parent-teacher conferences.

  • Church Conference Vote At least two-thirds (2/3) of the professing members present at a church conference of the Local Church must vote to disaffiliate from The United Methodist Church “for reasons of conscience regarding a change in the requirements and provisions of the Book of Discipline related to the practice of homosexuality or the ordination or marriage of self-avowed practicing homosexuals as resolved and adopted by the 2019 General Conference, or the actions or inactions of its annual conference related to these issues which follow.” Local Church shall provide documentation, to the satisfaction of Annual Conference, which evidences the result of the disaffiliation vote taken at the church conference. Such documentation must be certified by an authorized officer of Local Church and shall be included as an Exhibit A to this Disaffiliation Agreement.

  • Annual Conference Vote This Disaffiliation Agreement must be “ratified by a simple majority of the members . . . present and voting” at a duly-called session of The Western North Carolina Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church, as required by Judicial Council Decision 1379 and ¶ 2529.1b(3)
