Overtime on a Scheduled Day Off. All time worked by a regular employee on their regular day off shall be considered as overtime and shall be paid at the rate of one hundred fifty per cent (150%) of the employee’s regular hourly rate for the first two (2) hours and two hundred per cent (200%) of the employee’s regular rate for each hour worked thereafter. Any overtime worked on a scheduled day off in excess of eight (8) hours in a day shall be considered double overtime and shall be paid in accordance with Subarticle 6.04 above, except that the rate on which double overtime pay is calculated shall be the overtime rate.

  • Overtime-Eligible Unpaid Meal Periods ‌ The Employer and the Union agree to unpaid meal periods that vary from and supersede the unpaid meal period requirements of WAC 000-000-000. Unpaid meal periods for employees working more than five (5) consecutive hours, if entitled, will be a minimum of thirty (30) minutes and will be scheduled as close to the middle of the work shift as possible. Employees working three (3) or more hours longer than a normal workday will be allowed an additional thirty (30) minute unpaid meal period. When an employee’s unpaid meal period is interrupted by work duties, the employee will be allowed to resume their unpaid meal period following the interruption, if possible, to complete the unpaid meal period. In the event an employee is unable to complete the unpaid meal period due to operational necessity, the employee will be entitled to compensation, which will be computed based on the actual number of minutes worked within the unpaid meal period. Meal periods may not be used for late arrival or early departure from work and meal and rest periods will not be combined.

  • Payment of Annual Leave on Termination On the termination of their employment, an employee will be paid their untaken or pro-rata annual leave.

  • Scheduled Days Off Except in cases of emergency, no employee will be required to return to his/her place of employment on his/her scheduled day off.

  • Rostered Day Off 3.5.1 Any employee who by the circumstances of the arrangement of their ordinary hours of work is entitled to a rostered day off which falls on a public holiday prescribed by this clause shall, by mutual agreement, be paid for that day seven hours thirty six minutes at ordinary rates or have an additional day added to his/her annual leave, or shall be allowed to take the day off on an alternative weekday. Provided that where in the case of a shift worker the holiday on which he is rostered off falls on a Saturday or Sunday, this provision shall not apply.

  • Accrual Rate of Sick Leave With Pay Credits Full-time employees shall accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave with pay credits for each full month worked. Employees who work less than the full month but at least thirty-two (32) hours during the month shall accrue sick leave with pay on a pro rata basis for the month.

  • Holiday Coinciding with a Day of Vacation Where an employee is on vacation leave and a day of paid holiday falls within that period, the paid holiday shall not count as a day of vacation.
