Neglected Work by PLUMBER. 1. If PLUMBER neglects to execute the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents, including any requirements of the progress schedule, PROJECT MANAGER may direct PLUMBER to submit a recovery plan and take specific corrective actions including, but not limited to, employing additional workmen and/or equipment, and working extended hours and additional days, all at no cost to AUGUSTA in order to put the Work back on schedule. If PLUMBER fails to correct the deficiency or take appropriate corrective action, XXXXXXX may terminate the contract or PLUMBER’s right to proceed with that portion of Work and have the Work done by others. The cost of completion under such procedure shall be charged against PLUMBER. A Change Order shall be issued incorporating the necessary revisions in the Contract Documents, including an appropriate reduction in the Contract Price. If the payments due PLUMBER are not sufficient to cover such amount, PLUMBER shall pay the difference to AUGUSTA.

  • Weekend Work (a) Overtime work on Saturday shall be paid for at the rate of time and a half (1.5) for the first two (2) hours and double time thereafter, provided that all overtime worked after 12 noon on Saturday shall be paid for at the rate of double time.

  • HOOSIER HEALTHWISE SCOPE OF WORK  Requirements for Reinsurance Companies  The Contractor shall submit documentation that the reinsurer follows the National Association of Insurance Commissioners' (NAIC) Reinsurance Accounting Standards.  The Contractor shall be required to obtain reinsurance from insurance organizations that have Standard and Poor's claims- paying ability ratings of "AA" or higher and a Xxxxx’x bond rating of “A1” or higher, unless otherwise approved by OMPP.  Subcontractors  Subcontractors’ reinsurance coverage requirements must be clearly defined in the reinsurance agreement.  Subcontractors should be encouraged to obtain their own stop-loss coverage with the above-mentioned terms.  If subcontractors do not obtain reinsurance on their own, the Contractor is required to forward appropriate recoveries from stop- loss coverage to applicable subcontractors.

  • Related Work Leave not to exceed one (1) year may be granted to an employee to accept a position of fixed duration outside of State service which is funded by a government or private foundation grant and which is related to the employee's current work.

  • Complete Work without Extra Cost Except to the extent otherwise specifically stated in this contract, the Contractor shall obtain and provide, without additional cost to the City, all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, facilities, services, permits, and licenses necessary to perform the Work.

  • WORK BY OTHERS The Owner may perform additional Work related to the PROJECT by itself, or it may let other direct contracts which shall contain General Conditions similar to these. The CM will afford the other Contractors who are parties to such direct contracts (or the Owner, if it is performing the additional Work itself), reasonable opportunity for the introduction and storage of materials and equipment and the execution of the Work, and shall properly connect and coordinate his work with theirs. Should the Contract entail relocation of facilities not a part of this Contract, the CM will coordinate and cooperate with the applicable entity responsible for this portion of the work.

  • Work Week and Work Day (a) (Applicable to full-time employees only) The normal or standard work week shall be an average of thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours, with a normal or standard work day of seven and one-half (7½) hours except in those Hospitals where agreements already provide a standard or normal work week of less than thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours per week and seven and one-half (7½) hours per day. (Those Hospitals with the lesser required hours shall reflect in the salary rates a pro-rata lesser amount compared with salaries for other Hospitals based on the ratio that the standard or normal hours of work at the Hospital concerned are to thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours and shall appropriately reflect such hours in this Article). The length of time over which the hours of work per week are to be averaged shall be determined locally and shall be set out in the Local Provisions Appendix.

  • WORK UNIFORMS Employees who are required to wear uniforms as a condition of employment shall be furnished such uniforms by the Appointing Authority. Proper maintenance of uniforms is an employee responsibility unless they are currently maintained by the Employer or unless required by statute or other regulatory agencies because of contamination (see Article 22). Uniforms shall not be used for off-duty activity by the employee.
