Work by others definition

Work by others means "not by Mechanical Contractor but provided or installed by the General Contractor or any other sub-contractor performing their respective work within this contract”.

  • District will determine entitlement to or the amount or extent of an adjustment, if any, in Contract Price or Contract Time as a result of deleting such portion of Work, or performing the Work by others.

  • Any such unapproved assignment, subcontracting, sub-subcontracting, or performances of MBE/WBE Work by others shall be a change in the MBE/WBE Work for the purposes of this Contract.

  • Seller’s limited warranty herein does not apply to (i) sales of equipment, or products, accessories or attachments manufactured by third parties, (ii) work over or repair work by others, (iii) products or parts requiring replacement because of natural wear and tear, erosion, corrosion or due to improper use, operation, installation or maintenance by Purchaser or others, (iv) any used item(s) with all such sale(s) sold by Seller “AS IS/ WHERE IS,” or (v) there is modification of the Work by others.

  • Any such unapproved assignment, subcontracting, sub-subcontracting, or performances of M/WBE Work by others shall be a change in the M/WBE Work for the purposes of this Contract.

  • This pledge is personal to You and does not apply to any use or distribution of Your Original Work by others.

  • Subject always to GC 3.3, if this Contract is terminated pursuant to GC 21.2 or GC 21.3, the Owner shall pay the Contractor for all Work satisfactorily performed to the date of termination, less the sum of all monies already paid to the Contractor and all costs the Owner must pay in excess of the Contract Price to obtain satisfactory completion of the Work by others.

  • The Publisher may authorize use of the Work by others without compensation to the Publisher or Author, if, in the judgment of the Publisher, such use may benefit the sale of the Work or of subsidiary rights in the Work.

  • Any of the Work or materials, goods, or equipment which do not conform to the requirements of the Contract Documents, or are not equal to samples accepted by the Project Officer or designee, or are in any way unsatisfactory or unsuited to the purpose for which they are intended, shall be rejected and replaced immediately so as not to cause delay to the Project or Work by others.

Related to Work by others

  • Project Scope means the description or activity of work to be accomplished on the project.

  • Maintenance work means the repair of existing facilities when the size, type or extent of such facilities is not thereby changed or increased. While “maintenance” includes painting and decorating and is covered under the law, it does not include work such as routine landscape maintenance or janitorial services.

  • Development Work means all work and services necessary or desirable in connection

  • Work stoppage means a concerted failure by employees to report for duty, a concerted absence of employees from work, a concerted stoppage of work, or a concerted slowdown in the full and faithful performance of duties by a group of employees. The officers of MSEA-SEIU, at all levels individually and collectively, agree that it is their continuing obligation and responsibility to maintain compliance with this Article, including the remaining at work during any interruption or slowdown of work which may take place.
