Moving from Full Time to Part Time. If full time Employees request to move to part time employment, the following will take place: The Employee must apply for the position and a position must be available. If hired, the Employee brings his/her seniority with him/her. If the Employee does not restrict his/her consistent availability on any shift, they shall take their seniority with them and be put on the part time list. If an Employee restricts his/her availability, then the Employer will determine if a position is available and if the Employee is accepted, they shall take their seniority with them.

  • Leave of Absence for Full-Time Union or Public Duties An employee who is elected or selected for a full-time position with the Union or anybody with which the Union is affiliated, or who is elected to public office, shall be granted leave of absence without pay and without loss of seniority.

This prorated contribution shall be based on the ratio of paid regular hours to full-time hours to the nearest full percent, except that less-than-full-time employees who have at least eighty (80) paid regular hours in a month shall receive no less than one-half (½) of the contribution for full-time employees.

  • Regular Full-Time Employees A regular full-time employee is one who works full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular full-time employees accumulate seniority and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement.
