Common use of Military Training Leave Clause in Contracts

Military Training Leave. An employee who has served with the State of Oregon or its counties, municipalities or other political subdivisions for six (6) months or more immediately preceding an application for military leave, and who is a member of the National Guard or of any reserve components of the armed forces of the United States is entitled to a leave of absence with pay for a period not exceeding fifteen (15) calendar days or eleven (11) workdays in any federal fiscal year. If the training time for which the employee is called to active duty is longer than fifteen (15) calendar days, the employee may be paid for the first eleven (11) days only if such time is served for the purpose of discharging an obligation of annual active duty for training in the military reserve or National Guard.

If In no event may an employee receive more than the training time for which the employee is called to active duty is longer than fifteen (15) calendar days, the employee may be paid for the first eleven (11) number of days only if such time is served for the purpose of discharging an obligation of annual active duty for training in the military reserve or National Guardprovided by law.

If the training time for 22 which the employee is called to active duty is longer than fifteen (15) calendar days, 23 the employee may be paid for the first eleven fifteen (1115) days only if such time is served for 24 the purpose of discharging an obligation of annual active duty for training in the 25 military reserve or National Guard. For the purposes of this section, "training year" 26 means the federal fiscal year for any particular unit of the National Guard or a reserve 27 component.

Military Training Leave. An employee who has served with the State of 32 Oregon or its counties, municipalities or other political subdivisions for six (6) 33 months or more immediately preceding an application for military leave, and 34 who is a member of the National Guard or of any reserve components of the 35 armed forces of the United States is entitled to a leave of absence with pay 36 for a period not exceeding fifteen (15) calendar days or eleven (11) workdays 37 in any federal fiscal training year. If the training time for which the employee is called to 38 active duty is longer than fifteen (15) calendar days, the employee may be 39 paid for the first eleven fifteen (1115) days only if such time is served for the purpose of 40 discharging an obligation of annual active duty for training in the military 41 reserve or National Guard. For the purposes of this section, "training year" 42 means the federal fiscal year for any particular unit of the National Guard or a 43 reserve component.
