Military Spouse Leave. Up to fifteen (15) days of unpaid leave will be granted to an eligible employee who averages twenty (20) or more hours of work per week, whose spouse is on leave from deployment or before and up to deployment during a period of military conflict. An employee who takes leave under this provision may elect to substitute any of the accrued paid leave to which the employee is entitled for any part of the leave provided under this provision. The employee must provide his or her supervisor with notice of the employee’s intention to take this leave.
