Meetings for Elected and Appointed Officials of Professional Associations. Employees who are elected as officers, appointed as committee members, or elected delegates in their professional state or national associations or affiliated organizations to their state or national associations, may attend official meetings of those bodies which are required of them in their elected or appointed positions without loss of pay. No expenses for such meetings, other than substitute services, shall be paid by the Board and shall be limited to twenty (20) days of substitute pay.

  • Association President The President of the Association has the right to visit schools. The President will coordinate the visits with the offices of the principals in order to facilitate the purpose of this visit. Visits that are made to solve special problems of teachers will be arranged in advance by notifying the office of the principal.

  • Association Meetings A. The Association shall have the right to use school facilities for meetings without cost after the regular students' school day.

  • Hospital-Association Committee (a) There shall be a Hospital-Association Committee comprised of representatives of the Hospital, one of whom shall be the Chief Nursing Officer or designate and of the Association, one of whom shall be the Bargaining Unit President or designate. The number of representatives is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions and the membership of the Committee may be expanded by mutual agreement.

  • Labour Management Meetings The committee meeting shall normally be held every second month however, either party may call a meeting of the Joint Labour Management Committee. The meeting shall be held at a time and place fixed by mutual agreement but no later than fourteen (14) calendar days after the initial request, unless mutually agreed.

  • Chairman and Secretary The Local Union shall select the Union representatives and the Chapter shall select the management representatives.
