Affiliated Organizations means the following:

Affiliated Organizations means any legal entity or incorporated association falling within the following categories: (i) non-profit corporations or incorporated associations to whom substantial funding or subsidies are provided by the City, (ii) any “affiliate” (as defined below) of the City which provides services authorized or required by the Vancouver Charter, or (iii) governmental authorities to whom the City is required to provide administrative services as a result of provincial legislation mandating or authorizing the provision of such services, and by way of example only and without limiting the generality of the above categories, the following are Affiliated Organizations: (iv) Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation, (v) Vancouver Police Board, (vi) Vancouver Public Library Board, (vii) Vancouver Parking Corporation, (viii) Emergency Communications for Southwest British Columbia, (ix) Vancouver Civic Development Corporation, (x) Hastings Institute, (xi) Harbour Park Corporation, (xii) Public Housing Corporation, and (xiii) those organizations listed in the attached Schedule E1 [Affiliated Organizations], provided that, in this definition, the word “affiliate” means any corporation the shares of which are held by the City, other than by way of security only, and (i) the votes carried by such shares are sufficient, if exercised, to elect or appoint one or more of the directors of the corporation, or (ii) the enabling legislation for such corporation permits the City as of right to appoint one or more directors of the corporation.

Affiliated Organizations means the following eight ( 8 ) groups which employ student and term employees of UVSS: Society for Students with a Disability ( SSD) Students of Colour Collective ( SOCC) UVIC Pride W omen’ s Centre / Third Space Native Students’ Union ( NSU) Anti- Violence Project ( AVP) University of Victoria Sustainability Project ( UVSP) Campus Community Gardens ( CCG)

Affiliated Organizations means Mount Pearl Community based organizations that have a demonstrated interest in creating goodwill within the City of Mount Pearl.

Affiliated Organizations means government entities separate from you, but which will have access to the New World Public Safety Tyler Software detailed in Exhibit A and licensed to you under this Agreement. Permissible Affiliated Organizations, if any, are listed in Exhibit A. Your authorized representative may request additional government entities be added as Affiliated Organizations at any time by providing written notice to us. An authorized representative is a person with the authority to bind you contractually. Section I(15) notwithstanding, notice of this request may be by email to your Tyler account representative. Upon our written acceptance of your request, the proposed government entity will become an Affiliated Organization under this Agreement.
