LOCAL 17 TRAINING FUND. Section 1. The Employer agrees to contribute to the Operating Engineers Local 17 Training Fund. Such contributions shall be remitted in the amounts hereinafter set forth in Article 4 Section 1 and 2 for each actual hours paid (excluding holidays not worked) to the Upstate New York Engineers Benefit Fund, 000 Xxxxxxxx Xxxx, XX Xxx 000 Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx, Syracuse, New York, 13205-0100 or any other depository selected by the Trustees, in the mode and manner as determined by the Board of Trustees of said Fund pursuant to the terms and provisions of an Agreement and Declaration of Trust between the Independent Employers and Local Union 17 of the International Union of Operating Engineers.

  • Staff Training VENDOR shall ensure that all staff providing direct Services receive continuing education and training as needed or required and that such education and training is documented.

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.

  • Classroom Management The certificated classroom teacher demonstrates in his/her performance a competent level of knowledge and skill in organizing the physical and human elements in the educational setting.

  • Additional Training Should the introduction of new methods of operation create a need for the perfection or acquisition of skills requiring a training period longer than one (1) year, the additional training time shall be a subject for discussion between the Board and the Union.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend.

  • Training Pay City shall pay one and one-half times regular salary rate for training required by the Police and Peace Officers Licensing Law which is taken outside of regular duty hours (approximately 48 hours every three years). The Chief will establish the type and amount of training required.
