Letter of Guidance. If an investigation results in no finding of just cause, a Letter of Guidance may 28 be issued and will be placed in the investigative file and a copy will be provided to the employee. A 29 Letter of Guidance is a non-disciplinary outcome that may be issued to address allegations of potential 30 misconduct that are unsubstantiated but could negatively impact an employee’s professional 31 standing. A Letter of Guidance offers advice to the employee on conduct to moderate or monitor in 32 order to ensure the employee meets the high ethical standards of public employment. A Letter of 33 Guidance shall not be placed in the employee’s personnel file.

Letter of Guidance. (a) Where the impugned conduct of a Member continues after a verbal discussion under Article 19.06.1, the Xxxx shall meet with the Member to discuss what measures may be necessary to effect satisfactory performance of responsibilities and duties under Articles 11 and 21. After this meeting, or after the Member has declined the invitation to attend such a meeting, the Xxxx will write a Letter of Guidance to the Member specifically identifying the actions the Member should take to correct the conduct. A copy of the letter will be placed in the Member’s Personal File and the Member shall be so informed.

  • Letter of Understanding Re Grievance Administration The central parties agree to develop a pilot project to assist the local parties with innovative and creative solutions to enhance grievance administration, such project could include regional review of grievances, regional mediation and/or regional panels of arbitrators.   • Letter of Warning A letter of warning is a disciplinary notice in writing, identified as an official disciplinary letter of warning, which shall include an explanation of a deficiency or misconduct to be corrected.

  • LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING The central parties agree that they shall develop and share regional listings of experts and resources to support their joint obligations in regard to the duty to accommodate. Letter of Understanding: Within 30 days of ratification, the parties agree to meet to prepare a joint letter to the provincial Minister of Health requesting one-time special funding for Hospitals to address the issue of access to supplies and minor equipment and ongoing funding for Quality of Worklife initiatives. Letter of Understanding Re: Harassment & Discrimination The local parties will determine the appropriate means of promoting and providing an effective and meaningful way of addressing discrimination and harassment issues; which may include, but is not limited to the following: • reviewing the hospital’s harassment policy and making joint recommendations to the Chief Nursing Officer; • promoting a harassment free workplace where there is ‘zero tolerance’; • ensuring that all employees are familiar with the employer’s harassment policy by identifying educational opportunities, including the orientation period for new employees; • identifying supports and solutions to assist employees to deal with harassment and discrimination issues (i.e. Employee Assistance Programs, staff supports); • development of processes to address the accommodations/modified work needs for nurses; • development of assertiveness training programs. Letter of Understanding The parties agree that the issue of “paid professional leave days” to which nurses may be entitled is a local issue in the current round of bargaining.

  • TECHNICAL GUIDANCE LETTERS In the sole discretion of the System Agency, and in conformance with federal and state law, the System Agency may issue instructions, clarifications, or interpretations as may be required during work performance in the form of a Technical Guidance Letter (TGL). A TGL must be in writing, and may be delivered by regular mail, electronic mail, or facsimile transmission. Any TGL issued by the System Agency will be incorporated into the Contract by reference for all purposes when it is issued.

Each tier must certify to the tier above that it will not and has not used Federal appropriated funds to pay any person or organization for influencing or attempting to influence an officer or employee of any agency, a member of Congress, officer or employee of Congress, or an employee of a member of Congress in connection with obtaining any Federal contract, grant or any other award covered by 31 U.S.C. 1352. Each tier must also disclose any lobbying with non-Federal funds that takes place in connection with obtaining any Federal award. Such disclosures are forwarded from tier to tier up to the Customer. As applicable, Contractor agrees to file all certifications and disclosures required by, and otherwise comply with, the Xxxx Anti-Lobbying Amendment (31 USC 1352).Contractor certifies that it is currently in compliance with all applicable provisions of the Xxxx Anti-Lobbying Amendment (31 U.S.C. 1352) and will continue to be in compliance throughout the term of the Contract and further certifies that:
