International Long Distance. International Long Distance is available but may be subject to a 90-day payment history with Verizon Wireless. International long distance rates will vary and do not apply to calls to Canada, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and some U.S. Protectorates, or to credit card or operator assisted calls. Verizon Wireless International Long Distance Value Plan: Requires subscription to a qualifying calling plan and international dialing capability (I-DIAL). The ability to make international calls is not guaranteed and may be restricted without notice. Rates apply only on calls to Value Plan countries made from calling plan home airtime rate and coverage areas. If a calling plan includes calls to any Value Plan country, those calls will be billed per the terms of the calling plan except when roaming on another carrier’s network, in which case that carrier’s rates will apply.
