International Services. 3.8.1 Where a customer is a South African holding company (the Customer) which has an international subsidiary who will be the service recipient (Service Recipient), the holding company and the subsidiary are jointly and severally liable under the Contract Documents. In the event of the termination of one or more of the Service(s) pursuant to a breach of the Contract Documents by the Service Recipient, the Customer shall repay to the Supplier on demand all reasonable costs, which the Supplier incurs as a result of the Service Recipient’s failure to comply with the Contract Documents or any cancellation hereof.

Foreign carriers or regulatory agencies may impose, upon the portion of the end-to-end international service or facilities they provide, certain limitations or restrictions that may limit your ability use the Services. You must conform to any limitations or restrictions imposed by the foreign carriers or agencies. You are responsible for all Service charges. Foreign Carrier Acts or Omissions We are not liable for acts or omissions of other carriers or foreign telecommunications administrations. International calls are priced on the basis of the country and city codes you dial. We are not liable for refunds or damages if those calls do not terminate in the country, city or area codes associated with the called number. Collect Call and Operator Services We do not offer collect call or operator services via this Service. Additional Restrictions • You shall not use any Provider VoIP service: (1) for any unlawful purpose; (2) for making telephone calls that use automatic dialing devices and terminate into electronic information services, pay-per-call services, or other domestic or international audiotext services; or (3) for international call-back offerings using uncompleted call signaling to any country, when that country has prohibited such an offering by statute or regulatory decision. • We may (1) deny, for any lawful reason, your request for Service, or (2) limit or allocate the facilities available to or used by any Service, if necessary, to manage our network in an efficient manner; to meet reasonable service expectations; to furnish service to existing and future customers based on forecasted customer requirements; or for any other lawful reason. • We may, without notice (consistent with governing laws or regulations), block traffic to or from specific countries, country codes, cities, city codes, local telephone exchanges ("NXX exchanges"), individual telephone stations, groups or ranges of individual telephone stations, or calls using certain customer authorization codes, whenever we deem it necessary to take such action to prevent (1) the unlawful use of Services; (2) nonpayment for Services; (3) the use of the Services in violation of this agreement; or (4) network blockage or the degradation of service furnished to you or to other Provider customers.

You must conform to any limitations or restrictions imposed by the foreign carriers or agencies.

For Services provided outside the United States, Customer or its local affiliate may be required to enter into a separate local country addendum/agreement (as approved by local authorities) (“LCA”) with the respective CenturyLink affiliate that provides the local Service(s). Such CenturyLink affiliate will invoice Customer or its local affiliate for the respective local Service(s).
International Services. 7.1 Lambda Alpha shall provide to the Chapter a structure of organization and resource for communicating between the members of Lambda Alpha and its constituent chapters. In this regard, Lambda Alpha shall provide research, newsletter and website information on events and affairs of the organizations and advice for the use of its members and for the general betterment for the purposes of Lambda Alpha. In turn, the Chapter shall institute a program and conduct such activities for the education, participation, camaraderie and benefit of its members commensurate with the abilities of the Chapter and consistent with Chapter purposes and defined herein. General communications to Chapter members shall be copied to the International Executive Director to the end of establishing a mechanism for notice and communication of Chapter resources and activities to all members of Lambda Alpha for their use, education and benefit.

Olabooks Intl will make all reasonable efforts to produce, print, and distribute (as set forth for each Publishing Package and in accordance with the Author’s Selected Trade Discount) Title within 90 days of both Author’s approval to proceed with Production and Olabooks Intl receipt of all acceptable materials required from Author in conjunction with Title. Olabooks Intl is not responsible for delays caused by the author due to non-responsiveness or inability to appropriately deliver acceptable materials, nor do the days of author inactivity apply toward the timeframe set forth above. The publishing process is suspended whenever author does not make a payment for past due amounts for this or any other Title. The publishing process will be terminated without refund in the event the author’s inaction or no responsiveness prevents the publishing process from completing within 2 years from the date of final publishing package payment. The publishing agreement will be terminated, and the deposit and partial payments will be forfeited in the event Author does not purchase a publishing package within 24 months of the last payment the Author made.
