Instructor's Diploma or Equivalent. 5.5.1 In order to ensure that instructors are up-to-date in instructional processes and professional skills, completion of the Provincial (B.C.) Instructors Diploma Program, the Native Adult Instructors Diploma, or their equivalent is highly recommended for all regular instructors.

Evaluation of Learning and Instruction The College and the Association that the components of the Instructor’s Diploma Program may be changed by the Ministry of Advanced Education from time to time. The equivalents of the Instructor’s Diploma and its components shall be established by the Joint Steering committee as per Article and shall subsequently be used by the Principal or delegate determining the status of new instructors with respect to the Instructor’s Diploma or equivalent. At the time of their initial appointment, new instructors shall receive written notification regarding their status with respect to the Instructor’s Diploma or equivalent.
