Initial Service Period. The minimum length of time a customer is obligated to pay for service, facilities, or equipment whether or not retained by the customer for that minimum length of time. The Initial Service Period for all services in this Agreement is one month unless otherwise stated.

Initial Service Period. New employees shall serve an initial service period of sixty (60) days. This period may be extended an additional thirty (30) days for employees by mutual agreement of the Employer and the Union. All new employees shall participate in an Employer orientation and instruction program designed to acquaint them with distinctive Employer procedures and techniques and to familiarize them with definite duties and responsibilities.
Initial Service Period. The stipulated minimum period of time the Company will furnish the required services or equipment and for which the Company's charges must be paid whether or not the services are used by the customer for the whole of the period. The Initial Service Period commences from the date that service or equipment is provided. LESSEE - A person, partnership, firm, body corporate or politic, government or department thereof and the legal representative thereof, which contracts for the lease of a channel.   • Trial Service Period 1. Except for those employees in an in-training appointment, all other employees with permanent status who are promoted, or who voluntarily accept a transfer or demotion into a job classification for which they have not previously attained permanent status, will serve a trial service period of six (6) consecutive months. The Employer may extend the trial service period to no more than twelve (12) consecutive months, provided the employee is given written, performance based reasons for the extension. The Employer agrees to notify the employee when it intends to extend the trial service period beyond six (6) months. The employee may choose to notify the union.

  • Service Term XOOM agrees to act as your exclusive natural gas supplier and will provide competitive retail natural gas service to you. The term of this Contract will begin when your local utility switches your account to XOOM and will continue on a month-to-month basis as set forth in the accompanying Product Sheet.

  • Transition Period Due to the nature of our purchasing process, the District often requires an existing service provider to continue to provide goods and/or services while the District is in the process of advertising, evaluating, and awarding a contract for the provision of the same goods and/or services in the future. To accommodate this process, the Contractor shall agree to maintain the same terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement for a period up to ninety (90) days after the automatic termination of this Agreement at the end of its term, if requested by the District, as a transition period. In addition, if the Contractor is not the successful bidder for a future solicitation for the same or similar services, he or she shall agree to provide the same goods and/or services provided in this Agreement for a period up to ninety (90) days to allow for an orderly transition to the new provider. The District and the Contractor may mutually agree to a longer transition period.

  • Employee leaving during notice period An employee given notice of termination in circumstances of redundancy may terminate their employment during the period of notice. The employee is entitled to receive the benefits and payments they would have received under this clause had they remained in employment until the expiry of the notice, but is not entitled to any payment in lieu of any remaining notice.

  • Retention Period The Engineer shall maintain all books, documents, papers, accounting records and other evidence pertaining to costs incurred and services provided (hereinafter called the Records). The Engineer shall make the records available at its office during the contract period and for seven (7) years from the date of final payment under this contract, until completion of all audits, or until pending litigation has been completely and fully resolved, whichever occurs last.

  • Service Dates Invoice shall include the beginning and ending date of the work accomplished for the invoice.
