Common use of Inclement Weather Days Clause in Contracts

Inclement Weather Days. Full-time hourly employees on inclement weather days shall receive time and one-half for the hours worked. As provided in Article XV H 4. Inclement Weather Days shall be defined as only those days that the majority of the teaching staff cannot work due to inclement weather conditions and students are not in attendance. If arriving late on inclement weather days, an employee may extend his/her shift in order to complete his/her full shift of work with approval of the superintendent or designee. If not reporting on an inclement weather day, an employee may elect to cover his/her absence with a vacation day; otherwise, the employee shall receive lost time.
