IEEE Foundation/Life Members Grants Committee. The IEEE Foundation/Life Members Grants Committee shall be responsible for the Foundation’s Grants Program, including identifying and recommending the theme for the annual Request for Proposals (RFPs); evaluating grant applications for compliance with the goals and objectives of the Foundation; and recommending to the Foundation Board and IEEE Life Members Committee those grant applications deemed meritorious and fundable within the available resources, and the funding source. Procedures for reviewing applications shall be approved by the Foundation Board. The Committee shall be appointed annually by the Foundation Board and shall report to the IEEE Foundation Programs Committee. One voting Director of the IEEE Foundation Board shall be elected to serve as chair, three members recommended by the Foundation Nominating & Corporate Governance Committee who may or may not be voting Directors of the Foundation Board, three members of the IEEE Life Members Committee recommended by the Chair, IEEE Life Members Committee and two alternates, one from the Foundation Board and one from the IEEE Life Members Committee. The role of an alternate shall be to assist with the evaluation of applications in the event a member of the IEEE Foundation/Life Members Grants Committee is not able to serve because of such things as illness or travel conflicts. All committee members shall be active members of IEEE. The Vice President, Programs, shall report regularly to the Foundation Board on Committee activities.

  • Joint Benefits Committee In order to achieve benefit cost reductions, or at a minimum, cost containment, the parties agree to establish and aggressively participate in a Joint Benefits Committee. The parties agree that the Joint Benefits Committee shall explore all potential options or changes that could generate cost reductions to the Benefit Plans with the following order of priorities:

Sub-committees to which the Joint Committee delegates functions are bound by the provisions of this Agreement regulating the taking of decisions by the Joint Committee. The Joint Committee may create additional sub-committees from time to time as it sees fit.

  • Education Committee (a) The Employer will establish an Education Committee for all employees in the facility, which shall include at least one representative from ONA members.

  • TRANSITION COMMITTEE 8.1.0 A transition committee comprised of the employee representatives and the employer representatives, including the Crown, will be established by January 31, 2016 to address all matters that may arise in the creation of the Trust.

  • Hospital-Association Committee (a) There shall be a Hospital-Association Committee comprised of representatives of the Hospital, one of whom shall be the Chief Nursing Officer or designate and of the Association, one of whom shall be the Bargaining Unit President or designate. The number of representatives is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions and the membership of the Committee may be expanded by mutual agreement.
