Hours of work for Temporary Employees are between 7. 30 a.m. and 8.00 p.m., Monday to Sunday with a maximum of twelve (12) Saturday and twelve (12) Sunday shifts per temporary employee per year. Scheduled weekends are not considered overtime work and are paid at straight time. (Note: During negotiations the Town assured the Local that Managers are governed by a less restrictive Saturday scheduling provision than that contained in 2 and 6 a.)

  • Part-Time and Temporary Employees 16.1. A part-time employee is one who is hired to work regularly twenty-four (24) hours per week or less. Except as expressly provided in the circumstances described in Article 16 (3) hereunder, a temporary employee is one employed for a special project or a specified time, in either case, not to exceed three (3) months except by mutual agreement, or in the case of students, the academic vacation period, or for a specified leave of absence. The Employer shall notify the employee and the CAW of the nature and anticipated duration of all temporary employment.

  • Temporary Employment (a) A temporary employee is an employee employed to work full-time or part-time for a specified maximum period of time which is not normally to exceed 12 months or to undertake a specific project. An employee may be employed as a temporary employee in the following circumstances:

Contractor shall ensure that all such employees and subcontractors comply with the terms of this DPA.

  • Compensation for Holidays Worked a. With the exception of the provisions in Section C.2.b., below, an employee required to work on a holiday listed above shall be paid at the employee's regular straight-time rate of pay for the hours actually worked. In addition, an eligible employee shall receive either compensatory time off or holiday pay at the option of the University at the regular straight-time rate, including any shift differential.
