Hours and Breaks. It is the Contractor’s obligation to adhere to all applicable Local, State, and Federal labor requirements, and if inconsistent with any provisions herein, the applicable Local, State, and Federal labor requirements control. These breaks must be staggered to provide continuous uninterrupted security protection. Security Guards who smoke shall not do so while on duty. Smoke breaks must be taken in designated smoking areas, in a manner consistent with Department of General Services (DGS) Smoking Policy.

Hours and Breaks. In any calendar week (ie. Sunday to Saturday or Monday to Sunday) the Artiste can be required to work a maximum of 43 hours during the rehearsal period and 35 hours including any additional rehearsals or other calls during the performance period over a maximum of six days. The Artiste will be given a break of at least 15 minutes during any period of 3 hours worked and at least 1 hour break during any period of 5 hours worked. A break of at least 11 hours will be given overnight.

  • Hours Worked For the purpose of computing the number of hours worked, all time during which an employee is in paid status shall be construed as hours worked.

  • HOURS AND OVERTIME 3:1 A workweek is defined as seven (7) consecutive calendar days, from Saturday midnight to Saturday midnight. The basic workweek shall consist of five (5) workdays of eight (8) hours each and shall begin Monday and run through Friday, except when a job other than for a public utility is to be done on Saturday, then the Company may assign another day as a non-workday and Saturdays becomes a workday in the basic workweek. The regular hours of work may be changed by the Company at the request or direction of the public utility or governmental authorities, and by mutual agreement between the Company and the Union. The Company may change the start times by 30 minutes in either direction of the regular start time to meet the operational need without union approval. Such a change in the regular hours of work shall not be deemed to require the payment of overtime.

  • Lunch and Break Periods 280. At the request of the Union or the City, City departments will meet and confer regarding the scheduling of break and lunch periods for unit members. Existing departmental practices with respect to break and lunch periods shall continue unless modified after the conclusion of the meet and confer process. Rotating Days Off

  • Meals and Breaks Whenever possible Dispatchers will be relieved for a lunch break, not to exceed one-half hour, at or near the halfway point through the shift when feasible. If during the break, a situation arises that it is necessary for the dispatcher to return to dispatching duties, they will do so without delay and they shall be paid an additional amount of wages equal to the straight time wage rate for the period of the lunch break lost, up to one half hour. The Employer will make every reasonable effort to provide each Dispatcher with two (2) ten minute breaks during each eight (8) hour shift in addition to the lunch break.

  • Lunch Breaks The lunch break will consist of a one-half hour (or one hour where scheduled) unpaid break taken mid-way during regular work day. In the event that an employee is required to work during his regular lunch period he shall be allowed a one-half hour lunch period between the hours of ll:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m., otherwise he shall be paid double time for working through said lunch period.

  • Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked Effective July 1, 2021, the Employer shall contribute the Retirement Rate or eighty cents ($0.80), whichever is higher, to the Retirement Trust for each Medicaid-Funded Hour worked by all home care workers covered by this Agreement with seven-hundred and one (701) or more cumulative career hours and fifty cents ($0.50) for each hour worked by all home care workers covered by this Agreement with less than seven-hundred one (701) cumulative career hours. Medicaid- Funded Hour(s) worked shall be defined as all hours worked by all employees covered by this Agreement in the Employer's in-home care program that are paid by Medicaid, excluding vacation hours, paid-time off hours, and training hours.

  • Tea Breaks (a) Every employee will be entitled to a paid 10 minute tea break in each four hours worked at a time to be agreed between the employee and employer.
