HOMEPORT AND TRAVEL. The Employee’s designated home port will be agreed with the Company at the time of engagement and not altered without the consent of the Company and the Employee. Employees will be entitled to economy class air fares for the purpose of travel to and from the Vessel.

HOMEPORT AND TRAVEL. 3.6.1 If the Vessel engaged in a sea voyage that incorporates overnight travel away from the Vessel Base and the employee is required to travel to or from the Vessel, the Employee will be entitled to economy class airfares, taxis, personal vehicle kilometers on basis of ATO rates for the purpose of travelling to and from the Vessel.

Both the State and the Union encourage interpreters to complete training and continuing education activities.
