Holiday Part-Time Flexible Employees. Part-time flexible employees shall not receive holiday leave pay as such. They shall be compensated for the ten (10) holidays by basing their regular straight time hourly rate on their annual rate divided by 2000 hours. For work performed on December 25, part-time flexible employees shall be paid in addition to their regular straight time hourly rate, one-half (1/2) times their regular straight time hourly rate for each hour worked up to eight (8) hours.

  • Part-Time Employees (a) A part-time employee is an employee who is engaged to work less than an average of 38 ordinary hours per week and whose hours of work are reasonably predictable.

  • Shift Employees Employees who work rotating shift patterns or those who work qualifying shifts shall be entitled, on completion of 12 months employment on shift work, to up to an additional 5 days annual leave, based on the number of qualifying shifts worked. The entitlement will be calculated on the annual leave anniversary date. Qualifying shifts are defined as a shift which involves at least 2 hours work performed outside the hours of 8.00am to 5.00pm, excluding overtime.
