Xxxxx; The Board will provide a one-time reimbursement, paid to each full-time teacher who is/was a member of the bargaining unit between September 1, 2004 and June 30, 2005 and employed by the Board during that time, to a maximum of five hundred and twelve dollars ($512) as provided by the Ministry of Education. Prorating shall apply to a full-time teacher who taught only part of the 2004-2005 school year and to a part-time teacher employed in the 2004-2005 school year. Such reimbursement shall be for costs incurred by a teacher for such items as computers, computer software, computer peripherals, professional materials, courses, and professional development activities related to their employment. Teachers shall be required to submit receipts/invoices for reimbursement for items purchased during their employment, for clarity, the receipts must be dated between September 1st, 2004 and September 30th 2005. The Board will accept submissions of receipts/invoices on a one-time only basis between June 1, 2005 and up to and including December 31, 2005. Such reimbursement shall be paid to a teacher on a cheque separate from their bi-weekly pay, in September 2006. The parties will meet to discuss eligibility for reimbursement, with the agreement that the number of employees receiving remuneration will not exceed the total number of full time equivalent teachers reported by the Board to the Ministry of Education, nor shall the total amount of monies paid out exceed the total money allocated by the Ministry for the Professional Development Fund.   • MINISTRY/SCHOOL BOARD INITIATIVES ETFO will be an active participant in the consultation process to develop a Ministry of Education PPM regarding Ministry/School Board Initiatives.

  • STATEWIDE ACHIEVEMENT TESTING When CONTRACTOR is an NPS, per implementation of Senate Bill 484, CONTRACTOR shall administer all Statewide assessments within the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (“CAASP”), Desired Results Developmental Profile (“DRDP”), California Alternative Assessment (“CAA”), achievement and abilities tests (using LEA-authorized assessment instruments), the Fitness Gram with the exception of the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (“ELPAC”) to be completed by the LEA, and as appropriate to the student, and mandated by XXX xxxxxxxx to LEA and state and federal guidelines. CONTRACTOR is subject to the alternative accountability system developed pursuant to Education Code section 52052, in the same manner as public schools. Each LEA student placed with CONTRACTOR by the LEA shall be tested by qualified staff of CONTRACTOR in accordance with that accountability program. XXX shall provide test administration training to CONTRACTOR’S qualified staff. CONTRACTOR shall attend LEA test training and comply with completion of all coding requirements as required by XXX.

  • Professional Development Committee There shall be a Professional Development Committee composed of at least two (2) representatives of the Association and an equal number of representatives from the Hospital. Each party may have alternates to replace a member from time to time.

  • Joint Job Evaluation Committee The parties entered into agreement December 17, 1992, to ensure the Joint Gender- Neutral Job Evaluation Plan remains current and operational and to that end endorsed the Joint Gender-Neutral Job Evaluation Maintenance Agreement. The parties agree that a guiding principle for the Committee is that there shall be no discrimination between male and female employees wherein a person of one sex is paid more than a person of the other sex for similar or substantially similar work.

  • Professional Development Fund A budget item equal to one-half (½) of one (1) percent of employees' salaries shall be set aside annually to be used to:

  • CENTRAL LABOUR RELATIONS COMMITTEE C4.1 OPSBA, the Crown and OSSTF agree to establish a joint Central Labour Relations Committee to promote and facilitate communication between rounds of bargaining on issues of joint interest.

  • Behavioral Interventions Committee This committee develops and monitors procedures for using behavioral interventions in accordance with Board policy 7:230, Misconduct by Students with Disabilities, and provides information and recommendations to the Board. At the Board President's discretion, the Parent-Teacher Advisory Committee shall perform the duties assigned to the Behavioral Interventions Committee.

  • School District For purposes of administering this Agreement, the term "School District" shall mean the School Board or its designated representative.
