Eligibility For Reimbursement. The employee's new job location must be 50 miles farther from the employee's old residence than the old residence was from the old job location. If deemed necessary, the agency head may make a request to the Director of Administrative Services for a waiver of this requirement. If this waiver is granted, all related moving expenses will be taxable. In order to be reimbursed for any expenses under this policy, the expenses must be incurred by the employee no later than one year from the date the employee is officially transferred to the new duty station.

Eligibility For Reimbursement of business miles shall be subject to a “one site 46 per day” rule. This means that in cases where employees are required to report 1 to their normal worksite, and then are required to travel to another site on the 2 same day, that travel is eligible for reimbursement in accordance with Article 3 XVII, paragraph 3.e. 4 5 In cases where an employee reports to a worksite within San Joaquin County 6 other than their normal worksite, and for that day, they report only to that 7 alternative worksite, then no mileage reimbursement shall be paid. 8 9 The “one site per day” rule shall apply to activities including, but not limited to, 10 staff development days, inservice days, and student activities or events. 11 The “one site per day” rule shall not apply to situations in which employees 12 must travel to an alternate site to pick up a county owned vehicle that will be 13 used to transport students to various activities, even if the employee’s personal 14 vehicle will only be driven to one site. Eligibility For Reimbursement deployed, must have a pre-executed MOU or a Post-Event Agreement. All Back up documentation must be provided. Depending on the Type of Mutual Aid provided, the expenses incurred may vary.
Eligibility For Reimbursement. All costs incurred pursuant to rendering of equipment, supplies or manpower under terms of this agreement shall be tracked and documented by the responding agency. This documentation shall commence at the en route time of the responding party. This documentation shall be provided to the requesting party at the conclusion of the event. Reimbursement, if any, will be negotiated at the time of the incident as mutually agreed upon by both parties. To be eligible for reimbursement, the mutual aid assistance should have been requested by the Requesting Party.
