Grievances of Non-AssociationMembers. Grievances of Non-Association members must follow the same procedure outlined by this article. However, should the grievance of a Non-Association member require that Association resources be used, the Non-Association member will be required to pay all expenses incurred while pursuing final disposition of their grievance. These shall include cost for payment of Arbitrator fees, counsel fees and any other fees directly related to the grievance. All disciplinary appeals shall follow the procedure as outlined in chapter 143 of the Local Government Code.

  • Association Grievances If a grievance affects a group of employees or the Association, the Association may initiate and submit such grievance to the Superintendent directly, and the processing of such grievance shall commence at Step 2. Grievances involving more than one supervisor and grievances involving the administrator above the building level may be filed by the Association at Step 2.

  • GRIEVANCES AND ARBITRATION Section 1. Having a desire to create and maintain labor relations harmony between them, the parties hereto agree that they will promptly attempt to adjust all disputes involving the interpretation, application or alleged violation of a specific provision of this Agreement.   • Arbitration of Grievances If a grievance brought under Division B (GRIEVANCES) of this Article is not resolved at Step Three of that procedure, the Association may submit the matter to arbitration. Notice of intent to arbitrate (Appendix D) must be filed with the President of the University within twenty (20) working days of the date of the decision at Step Three. If no notice of intent to arbitrate is filed within the time limit, the right to arbitrate is thereby waived.
